hi

I just bought a "midi controler keyboard" PCR 30 Edirol and I want to use the controls of the machine to modifiy some of the parameters of the 6400, like filters, LFO, env... etc.
I use logic express wich has a mode to configure the controler with the internal synths of logic but it won't work with the emu. I can't find the corespondances.

Can u help please ?????

u need to set up a few things
get your manual out for your edrol controller
find out how to set your midi cc on it see
on web site below on page 132
http://lib.roland.co.jp/manual/en/dl_04 ... egfis1.pdf
u want to make a control map thats the same as the emu ccs

on the emu hit master/midi/cntrls2
here is were u set the midi cc on emu

for example on my emu i have
midia :cc16
midib :cc17
midic :cc18
ect
on my controler
midia is slider 1 on midi cc16
midib is slider 2 on midi cc17
i pick a pod or slider on the controller then i call it midia then set the cc to 16
it takes a while to set up but once its done and u save template on your edrol your sorted

to use load a drum loop

go to cords section { preset edit/edit vce/cords}

source dest amount
00 midia filfreq +100%
then hit amp/filt
hit next twice
4th order high pass
freq 69
that should be u controling a high pass cutoff when u turn midi a
