Hi
Pretty set on getting one of these how many PCI slots does it take up?
1 or 2?

The 1820 takes up just one, but the converters aren't quite as great (though still good) and doesn't have the daughter card (but does have the breakout box).

thats a real shame, my comps only got 2 PCI slots and I need the first one for my scsi to use my old samples!

hi
my friend has just got the 1820m and says that i would not need to put the daughter card into the computer because it is only a synch for external recorders and would not be needed in my set anyway.
is this correct?
