Where does everyone store their samples nowadays? I have Zip 100 SCSI connected to my ultra, my mate wants to buy this IOmega drive but cannot find this now where (apart from second hand) - is there a new standard?

I say IDE Hard disk - cheap and massive amount of storage. Still, I would advise also having an external scsi drive of some sort to make backups of your banks.

9Gb SCSI drive in the other room, SCSI cable thru the wall, no more drive noise

1GB JAZ, for CDR burning, moving samples between studios

I got my ide drive for about ?55 from PC World - Seagate 40gb model number ST340810A - Probably get it for cheaper now.
I also got a Lacie 4gb External SCSI drive off ebay for ?23 inc postage.
