Question about hosting

I know this is slightly off topic .. but since the DOA board is not up I thought I'd ask here.
I've had a horrible time with IUMA. I tried to set up an artist page over a month ago and nothing ever happens. I've written them about 10 times and they never respond - so fuck those mingin bastards.
Does anyone else know any other free music hosting sites, preferable ones that allow your uploaded tracks to be available immediately (I've also had a bad time with MP3.com, who would take months to approve a track. I know that EZman and Mikee J had offered me space on their sites and I appreciate the offer, but I have a lot of different toons that I want to get up so setting up my own page is the best way to go right now.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
ps. EZman sorry for the off topic. Since there hasn't been a new post in days I hope it's OK

it would be kind of interesting if we could get a site going for just our selves, just those of us here at eoa. a place were we could post our tunes and showcase what we do on our emu's. but i suppose there would be alot of issues on that, and problems. i know when i go to post my tune, or experiment, for perhaps a better term, i fear all the issues i am going to go through to try to find a site to host it. from what you guys say it looks like it isn't all that easy.
as for the doa thing, they need to figure out who is behind that shit and put a stop to it. my song is on terminal hold right now because i don't know what would be best for it... to para eq each individual track or to do it to the whole thing at once... oh well i guess i will have to wait for doa to get back up or spend a few worthless hours trying to get it sorted on my own...
madmax, when you get stuff posted, definately give me a link or something, i am waiting to hear what stuff you do. even the none drum and bass stuff i would be interested in... seems how you lead on that you do more then just drum and bass....
If you're serious

Buy a domain name for about ?10 or whatever....
Buy a hosting plan from discount-hosting.com - cost about $10 for whole year.
Host yourself! It's easy and if anybody wants anyhelp I am here (on holiday in Cyprus at mo!)

Eh yo,
DS-1 ... Thanks for the advice, bre. Dogs on Acid is back up too so imma see what's listed there too.
SnH + EZman ... we could at least have a forum on this site where we could post our toons - perhaps one of the criteria would be that you have to give a trick that you used on the emu in the song if you want to post. That way people get thier songs heard and those that check them out get some EMU knowledge. Or if anyone wants to bother putting together a whole site dedicated to it that'd be cool .. I jus know that I won't do it, trus ...
I will hopefully have some toons posted soon. I've only got the DnB at work at the MO - I gotta get the UKG ones on the computer at work. I've also just found an amazing MC (hip-hop stylee) for some of the hip hop jonx I been working on so I'll have those to post as well. But the first thing I want is feedback on the DnB (I havn't been making it in years and I want to know if I should ever try again ... I feel like I've gone downhill ... not a nice feeling.
Anyweah ... EZ it would be mad cool if we hade a dedicated section .. or if it was allowed to post links on this main board ...
