hello hope ur all well!

say I have 15 nice .wav samples on my PC I wanna get into my emu,
i have a cdrom burner on pc and i have a cdrom drive on sampler,

can I burn a simple emu cdrom no frills just get the samples into my e6400?

wish i had a scsi thing like the rest of you ! but that will have to wait a while. ha!

how long are they? I know it's convenient to SCSI it over, but sometimes I don't know why everyone is so against just SAMPLING! It is a sampler...

As far as making a CD your sampler can read, it's not as easy as it would seem because first of all, the files have to be in a format that the sampler can understand... second, you have to be able to burn a CD in Emu forma t so your sampler can even read it. They may be software you can use to get around these limitations but you may be better off just manually sampling them...

well ...thought it would be nice to cut up lots of .wav's in nuendo
and convert to a cdrom that the sampler can read (nothing fancy)!

Its so much easier to edit by mouse and to browse though the sounds on the PC. and avoids conversion x2 D/A A/D

i have no sounds in my emu ...i had a jazz drive once and it blew up !!

So i now have an empty internal drive waiting to be filled!

I have eos 2.8 (its made my machine a bit glitchy)

I have 128mb ram
cpu ram 1mb
cpu flash lmb
so i dont think i can go up to eos 4.10?

id love eos link but i have to upgrade the cpu flash i think?
id like to upgrade....emu.com grrrrr
