I'm using inputs 9/10 , 11/12 , 13/14, 15/16 on say logic, coming from a motu 828, these get signals from main outs , aux 1 , aux 2 , aux 3 in the rfx mixer . Then I use which ever bus fx on the 4 pairs of outs I have, so I can have four signals going in to the computer at once , does this sound right ?

yep, just make sure you use the I/O helper.
