The modules have been made before the schematic were available.

I already sent the schematics to the man so that he can verify his design.
I think that some data have to be written to the Flash RAMs so that the EOS recognizes them.
I think that the issue has to do something with IP protection.

MFPhouse-The zip file you link to is the complete E4 technical documents I provided the other day (which i've had for years, but no-one ever asked for them until the other day) to Hecticc, so in my post above i've attached the only one relevant, the schematic for the Flash ROM in question ;-)

I hope the man who is referred to is able to rectify the software issue. I'd be happy to help in any way I can in order to see that some Flash ROMS are manufactured as I need some for myself. It would be fantastic if it were somehow possible to get a 4MB ROM working in the classic machines in order to get that extra file system code (FAT32) out of 4.7 running on the classic E4, I don't think there is enough space in the 2MB ROM for this code.

I have a unit stuck on 4.02 and i can't get Flashprp to work with it.
Does anyone have a spare Flashprep disc in the UK? Or is it case of pressing 'enter' at the right point? i have to say, I can't see anything on the startup display that suggests you have to hit the enter button.

Any ideas?

I just managed to work with flashprep from the Emu support site. This is over the various other copies on the web titled flashprp10
