Adding a hardrive to a e6400
Posted: Tue Feb 21, 2006 5:47 pmHi i basically need to add a hard-drive to a e6400 classic but need to know a few things first...can i only use specifc models? ive got a couple of spare harddrives; 2 seagates (models ST52160N and a ST32155N) should these drives work inside the unit?
Also as to installing the a drive, im assuming id hook up the HD to the internal scsi connector and hook up the power to the 'HDPWR' socket.
If ive got that right the only other question is what would the model or type of power cable needed to hook up a HD? If i can find that out then im guessing i could find one on the net pretty easily.
