That's where you'll find all the help for the E-mu software/audio card type stuff. This is the forum for the real-deal hardware samplers.

But yes, Emulator X is a horrible CPU hog and there's nothing you can really do about it.

That's one (of the many) reasons us hardware E-mu junkies are still around
