i have a zip drive and it seems to work well. i also have an external cd rom drive. I am also planning on getting the digital input out put thing, or whatever it is called, i would have to look it up. but i really want it so i can type instead of hitting the keys over and over again just to get to my letter that i am looking for. you can go to emu.com for there list of stuff. not that alot of it makes sense though.
cool site, now we just need to tweak it so it looks more professional? well i like it either way :)

My emu is fully hooked up through scsi to a scsi cdr so i can get at those precious emu sample cds (those things rock!). I upgraded to 128 megs almost right away, cost me about $50 canadian shipped to my house via ebay, definatly a smart choice
I also put a harddrive in there, still dont have a zip drive yet but ill get one.
upgrade the RAM! 4 megs is not enough

Order 2 of these - it will cost you about ?27 incl shipping for 128mb of RAM!!! I ordered 2 of these exact chips and they work perfect! Shipping from the USA? I ordered on Friday, and they were with me Monday, better than most UK companies!!!
Do it now

I'm using those chips in my e5000 - order the RAM and when you get it we'll go through installing it (5 min job max) . Ps. I'm in the UK and had no problems ordering from this company.

Get a SCSI 250Mb zip drive ASAP before they're extinct. Works great - Highly Recomended!

You can expect to pay about 85 quid for a new 250Mb USB zip drive. However, I can't find any that are SCSI online. A used dealer would be your best bet. E-bay would also work. I've heard they're more expensive on E-bay than new USB zip drives because there's a high demand for exactly this purpose. A used dealer, though, doesn't know what its for so he won't screw you as would some bloke who knows why you want one.
