Cool man lemme know how it works out - SCSI chains can be very tempermental. Watch out for that digital echo. It took me several configurations to finally get my chain to work but its really nice to be able to send a sample you made in a wave editor on your computer direct to the EMU!

Yup, that's right. But to throw another idea into the arena...
I have a 40
gb IDE drive in my e5000, cost about ?60. Works an absolute treat. Next I am getting a SCSI Hard drive, only 1gb or so (will cost about ?5). That will let me burn off my own EMU CD's via the mac/pc to be read via the scsi cd-writer chained in between
Another possibility

for now, i think i'm gonna get a zip drive (100mb or 250mb) so i can start making some tunes with my emu and save them, then i'll go from there!

Right now I have a 15gig IDE in my emu. I just like the idea of being able to get samples around, and sort of as backup as well. I will sometime in the next year get a firewire external harddrive too, im tired of not having my stuff backed up and having 'problems'
