Fasted way to get my sampled soundfiles (by e5000) on my PC

I just ordered a E5000 and i want to know what is the fastest way to get my samples on my PC Harddrive ?
The seller told me i need a SCSI COntroller for my PC and then i can connect the E5000 with the PC direct...is that true ?
If yes could anyone tell me which SCSI Controller are compatible to the E5000 ?
