Cable orientation SCSI Floppy IDE lug connector

In my exoerience SCSI floppy and ide cables attach to the motherboard of my E5000 ultra with the square lug that would fit into the notch on a standard computer connector pointing to the right (the nearest case side).
Any variations please add plus any keywords that will make this easy to find...
