Does anyone here own an MP-7 and use it for live use?

I have just bought an MP-7 and the main thing I'm wondering about is whether triggers/beats/arpeggiators can be used to trigger fills and rhythm variations? Can the beats function really only use ROM riffs, or is it possible to create your own?

I have an XL-7 and yes you can program the triggers however you want.
