Is it possible to transfer samples via SCSI between a macbook pro and an EMU sampler?

If so what would I need hardware/software-wise for my macbook pro to make this happen?

Thanks

I tried it with dsp quattro and a usb to scsi adapter.

On my g4 w 10.4.9 it worked fine.

on my new intel Imac, it did not work.

maybe when dsp quattro is updated to a ub it might work.

Can you give us the details of which usb-scsi adapter you are using?

Thanks Lordtoranga.

I've not had much luck even with a straightforward G4 desktop + Adaptec SCSI Adapter + E-Synth Rack in the past.
I've got the chance atm to get an E4 Platinum which I wouldn't even contemplate except for the price. Oh well...maybe worth a gamble not sure.

i have a castlewood usb thingy.

i believe it is an osx.

it would not work in 10.2, but apple fixed the smidi issue I think around 10.3.8

like I said it worked on my g4 no problem.

definitely won't work in os9
