How do I get a sample to play from beginning to end?

I'm new to the world of Emu Samplers. I would like to know how to get a sample to play from beginning to end without holding the key on my controller(sort of like the one shot feature on the Akai Samplers). Thanks.

I think this question have been answerd short time ago. And the conclution was that, to achieve the same kind of effect you need to use the envelope (max sustain or release??). and dont turn on looping.
