E-Mu E6400 Ultra with proteus roms?

Can you use the Ultra to read both the samples/presets off a proteus 2000 rom? Thanks for your time!

it will read the samples, but not the presets
this is second hand information
I have not verified this information
I think I read it on the studio central forum, long ago

I heard the same thing elsewhere. Wish I could just buy a bunch of those and get access to those presets. I wonder what's involved with reading the presets as they are on the same simm. Thanks for the quick response!

I think it will read the zones and keymaps, but none of the envelopes filters or effects, lfo etc...
That would all have to be done by hand.
that is the way I remember it being reported
