This is why running a DIY mac is so goood,

I built my own mac pro quad for a fraction of the price and guess what I have PCI slots, I cna use pcmcia and pci RME cards on osx86, cant do that on a real mac. And I can dual boot xp and just boot to windows whenever I want to send any thign to or from the sampler.

Really is the best of both worlds, my mac pro quad does a lot better in benchmarks than the real thign too!!

How long did it take you to find all the kext files and drivers for your DIY mac though? I set up OS X86 myself as well but, it felt much more like Linux than OS X, meaning, it worked but, there was little to no support and any support I could find I had to search online for hours to find.

I tried to install Zoeos on Vista; I changed the installationfile to run in XP SP2 Compatibility mode but the was some problem with Java when I tried to run the installed program; so it did not work on Vista for me.

I remember reading a post that said ZoeOS won't run under the latest version of Java, but would if you uninstall, then install an earlier version of Java. Not sure about the Vista question, though - my SCSI card doesn't have Vista drivers, so I've pretty much knocked ZoeOS on the head.
