hi i just bought a second emu, it's a classic this time. apparently you can't mount an IDE drive in it. i was asking myself if there are any other scsi storage media besides hd's? i have a couple of them around but they seem to die one by one... i read a topic about a scsi dvd writer but they look expensive and i can't find a scsi card reader anymore. are there alternatives?

SCSI zip drives come up on ebay fairly regularly, although the media is getting expensive these days.

i can vouch for the scsi dvd writer, and its a re-writer, so you can reuse your media. cuts down on the price fo sho.

well, the thread where i originally learned of it was about a classic machine, and they worked it out that it worked with ultra machines too, so i would suppose it does work with classics.

i bought the one in the thread. it works.
