Reverb (E5000)

Hi,
Everytime I move a sample in to a preset on my E5000 it seems to always add reverb. Sometimes it sounds alright but I wanted to know how and where to turn it off? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I could be wrong here because i havent explored the internal FX much.. but i think the effect you're describing could be the AMP Envelope Release, rather than the FX
On mine it defaults to 20 every time and always adds a slight decay to sounds.
try turning the release down to 2-3 and see if it goes away
Saying that though, also check to see if any master FX are setup as it could be that too
