Hi

Is it possible to convert Airport in to Firewire?

Ive got a PowerBook G4 and my Firewire died after changeing the HD. Went to the Regent St Apple GeniusBar and they sayd buy a new motherboard or find an Airport expansion card where you can plug in Firewire. Problem is they didnt know of any such expansion card or even if it exists. I find it a bit silly to buy a new motherboard (300 ?) just cuz the Firewire is not working. Havent hurd of an Airport to Firewire converter/expansion card also. Got any Suggsestions? I cant hook up my outboard gear w/ Firewire port..

Any tips would be well apprechiated!
