Were to find rom library????

Does anyone have any ideas were I might be able to obtain the original CD-rom library for the ULTRA 6400??????
Any help would be greatfully appreciated.

I have checked out ebay, there are not any on there at the moment do you have an idea of the price the go for?

I'm not sure, but it should'nt really be that much. You might want to check other ebays than the American.

I have checked out the items from the seller you mentioned and found these

Are these for the emulator software for the pci card or for an actual emu 6400 sampler as I asked the seller and he didn't know what an e6400 ultra was!!!!

That's the library you are looking for your Emu E6400 Ultra... He is probably confused because it says EIII Emulator on the cover...

Thanks for the info, I just hope no forum members bid on it as I really do need the discs.

i have the one you noticed on ebay ..it is 8 cd-roms but with no dedicated drum sample cd...

when we load the cd's is it quality is the same of proteus expanders ?
If i load the vintage cd into my sampler, is like i have the vintage proteus expander ? What is different ?

It's basically the same, expect the tweaking capabilities on the e-mu sampler is different. Dare I say better?

I happen to have those in my e-mu, and I'm very pleased with them. I got all the proteuses including "world" and such, and they are very useful when you need to have your sampler act like an "bread and butter"-synth.
