E-MU E64 and Planet Dance ROM Questions?
Posted: Thu Dec 20, 2007 8:16 pmI have an E64 and it looks like it has the connector for the e-synth chip. I also have an EMU Dance planet with a noisy power supply...and from what I can see, it looks as if the chip sockets are the same. So does anyone know if I can take the 9020 chip and install it into the e64 and use those sounds. I am a little bit hesitant to try becuase I don't want to burn out any of the electronics. Has anyone added an e-synth board to an E-64...is that even possible? What is the process? Any help is greatly appreciated!
