Hi All,
I have been looking for the eSynth rom for some time for my E4X non-Ultra but haven't found one.
I was wondering though if it's content can be found somewhere (just like i have the proteus samples/programs in my machine).
Sure i would have to load it everytime but it's better than nothing...
Thanks
L

Well, we've discussed uploading the e-synth rom earlier, but the problem is when you load the rom into ram all the presets are still connected to the rom-files. That means that for every preset you need to edit it to change the sample-name so it routes to the ram, not rom. It is'nt more work than to change a "x" to a "s", but you have to do that for every sample, at each preset. The discussion kinda stopped, because nobody was interested in all that work.

Hum, isn't something that could be done more quickly with Soundiver for instance?
If someone is ready to upload it, i can have a go and then upload the converted results.

I do have the rom bank on my drive but am certainly too lazy to re-asign all the correct sample names.... I've done a few and it took f-ing hours. If you feel like putting in the hours then I'll happily upload. Where would I upload them?

What is on the E-Synth ROM?
Im guessing its loads of looped waveforms (sine, Saw, Square, Pulse, Triangle etc)
Turning the EMU into a synth?
Ive done the same thing on my internal hard drive
esynth rom

Yes, and some other waveforms like piano, drums, etc. It also comes with some presets, and I find many of them useful.

I'll get around to it sometimes during the next week. But, I dunno how to put something on this page. Maybe I'll put it on some filesharingserver or something. It's only 16mb.
