How can I check the number of voices in emu ultra 6400?

my "new" ultra 6400 shows 128 channels during the start up procedure. Does that mean that 128 voices are useable (instead of the 64 normally installed)?

btw. bought it via e-bay com. - much cheaper than in the EU.
