Hi,

I've just started to sample my own material into the Ultra running
4.7 and I wonder why the sample playback frequency while
pressing the AUDITION BUTTON is way too low, maybe half of the
actual rate.

Is there any possibility to adapt the playback rate? If using samples of
the ESYNTH ROM, frequency is fine.

Does the root key play any role?

Any help is appreciated.

Go thru the master setup menus and look for the setting which controls which note the the auditon key triggers - if your sounds are playing at half pitch, then just change this value to an octave higher than it's currently set to.
