The file's labelled "eos_V460.exe", so maybe they've linked to the wrong file? (surely it'd be eos_V462.exe?)

If you're upgrading from EOS 4.10a, you need to use FlashPrep first, and have the EOS 4.62 floppy ready as you'll need to insert it after the boot flash update.
For Classic users, I guess that it's no big improvement. Maybe they've ironed out a few bugs, but the only new feature as such is importing Ensoniq samples. As for the rest, it can only work with Ultra machines (Beat Munger, 32Mb FlashROM creation...).

Posted: Wed Nov 05, 2003 1:16 am...and you've installed it on a Classic machine have you? Have tried everything here, but it rejects it in the same manner as if trying to put an Ultra specific EOS on a Classic spec machine.

I have now uploaded my copy of EOS 4.62. It's worked with an E4K and an E6400.
