have use the transmorgifier thing on your emu?

i dare you guys to do a ten second... no a fifteen second sample with it's self. and you have to promise not to get mad at me when two hours have passed and it is still doing the process. really it takes for-fucking-ever.

i seem to get the same fade ghosty sounds and the sample will often times be shorter then what the time says on the sample manage screen.

supposeably you can make "a guitar speak" but like i said i can't really get anything consistant when i do it...

so do you guys use this thing or do you think it is a stupid option that we all could benefit from it's removel... also if you have had good results give a shout on how the hell you did it....

The transmogrifier (you must be a Clavin and Hobbs fan), is time consuming and tedious. I have got some interesting results with snare drums etc but on the whole it is pretty useless...

yeah, its pretty hit or miss. it takes too much time so I really havn't been able to sit down and figure out what qualities of a sound determine whether it sounds like poo or not.
