Have I been duped?

Today I recived the images of the the E4XT that I would be receiving and it is not an ultra. It is an E4x that has been upgraded to a turbo and an RFX card added. Will this still have all of the features of the Ultra ? (such as Beat Munging? )

It may have been internally upgraded to an Ultra. Emu offered to upgrade non-ultras to Ultra back in '99 ish, it was like $1000. Ask what OS rev is on it.

If you can get a photo of the internals of the unit and post it here someone can tell you whether it is an ultra or not. Alternatively, get the seller to send you a photo of the 'about' page, as that lists the options that are fitted, which will allow you to identify exactly what you are buying.

I told the guy no thanks, I feel that he blatantly lied to me to avoid the fact that it was not an ultra. So now I am the happy buyer of a e5000 Im sure that it will do everything that I need, except the RFX :(
