Hi All,

Need desperate and urgent help for my EMU 6400 Ultra sampler machine.
Yesterday while working the system gave a continuous beep sound and then hanged.
The RAM and HDD are not visible in the screen during booting and its hangs after the display EMU Sampler.

It seems the eeprom is corrupted and needs a replacement as an engineer here checked for hdd,ram and machine and found all things ok.

Please suggest me some spare stores an sites who deal with e-mu 6400 ultra spares such as eproms and other parts.(with genuine spares and shipping option overseas)...

A quick reply will be highly appreciated.

The OS is flash based, not "EEPROM".

Search this board for suppliers -there's about 1 left in Florida in the US that has some stock. See the articles on the encoder wheel for instance.

This also sounds like it could be the power supply. Have you inspected that internally and run it under load to check stability ?
