Hey guys im having a bit of trouble sending samples via midi using the MIDI B slots. I can send them fine into the MIDI A slots but using MIDI B it just wont start the dump. Is there any reason why MIDI B behaves differently? Iv tried different midi settings in the master menu but no luck as yet.

I could really do with getting this set up right as i have my pc wired into MIDI A and via SCSI cable for using the Zeos software ect. But i dont use my pc that much now only when i have to as i have turned to mac so if i need to send a sample quick i can do it via midi from the mac without having to turn my pc on and swap my display cables over.

The same goes for the pc connection it doesn't work when plugged into MIDI B so its a pain as i have to swap cables over.

any help would be great

midi b is midi channels 17-32 , maybe it doesnt work on those channels. thats just a guess

Hi mtthwwllm thanks for the reply yup i think you may be right on that one i just thought someone might know something i dont well i was hoping .

It would just save me a job of pulling my sampler out to change cables around.

Only Midi A can transfer Data and the Clock ! Otherwise you get trouble of doubling output.

ah right thanks at least i know now saves me the job of trying to fix something that isnt broken
