Hi,
finally I buy a E6400 Ultra :-)
It came with hd full of samples and a lot of CDs.
My question is very simple can I read the CDs from a PC/Mac?
try with both and they said that the "CD is not readable by this computer" (Mac)
in the PC it shows a empty disk.
I don't have a CD-ROM player, but the disk are originals.

Thank you.

2 programs I know that work are
CDXtract link....http://www.soundlib.com/cdxtract/
Chicken Systems Translator link...http://www.chickensys.com/products/sw_i ... slator+Pro

Both a bit pricey but if you google search you can find places were they are extremely affordable (cough) ;)

Thanks JAHFUNK.
But my problem is that the operation system can't read the disk, may be they are in a special format
that the mencioned program can read.
Will try.

Computer OS' can't read them, forementioned programs can (mainly there to convert from one format to another, i.e. E-mu to Akai whatever), also you could view/(audition) content on CDs. Buy compatible external SCSI CD-Rom for direct connection to the E-mu, and have fun.

That's what I suspected!
How do I know if the SCSI CD-ROM is compatible with my E-mu?
I also have a Kurzweil K2600S and want to buy a external CD-ROM.

Thanks.
