submix outs and rfx

Sorry for the newbie question but, I have an E4Plat and to this point I've been doing all the mixing inside, using only the main outs. What I'd like to do is to have each RFX bus be routable to a particular pair of sub or adat outs (after the effect on that bus), then mix on a desk or daw. I can't figure out how to do it, any ideas?

Alternately, if I can't mix each RFX bus outside the E4, then I want to be able to control the mix with faders. I guess this is pretty simple, does anyone else do that? Any recommendations on control surfaces?

Thanks!

The busses of the RFX are always comming out of hte subs as long as you have cables hooked up at the back.
About adat, I'm not sure if you have RFX adat or just plain adat. With RFX adat just hook a adat cable from sampler to your soundcard or digital mixer and bob's your uncle..

Routing of RFX busses to output jacks on the back of your E4 can be configured as part of an RFX Setup. While you're editing the RFX Setup, hit right-arrow ">" and you'll be at the RFX Output Map screen. For each pair of stereo outputs you'll have a choice of which RFX Bus to route onto them.

Don't forget: if you don't want the signal from your effects busses folded into the Main output, make sure to set the mix amount to 0% for Main on each bus's edit screen.
