Does someone know a source for an EMU 6815 Digital output board manual?

Is the EMU 6815 the Digital I/O & ASCII-Option for the Classic line that has already been installed in E4X, E-Synth and E4X Turbo?


What do you exactly need?
There has been a Digital I/O & ASCII-option on ebay a few days ago. The picture above is taken from this auction.
A guy from UK offered this Option-board including cable but w/o the ICs.
I think that you need the CS8411 AND the CS8402 to use the AES/EBU Interface. On the Mainboard of an e6400 two DIP-sockets are empty while on a mainboard of an E4X are these two sockets are occupied.

Many thanks for this detailed information regarding the additional IC´s. I have a E6400 (classic) with this optional board and thinking about moving it to another one and sell one of the 2 samplers.
In the past E-MU held installing information on nearly all options available, but since the site is down, there is only little support left on their new url.
I´m not sure, if there was a technical installing guide for the 6815, but if someone has this available, I would be very happy if he/she could post it here.

Thanks to mosrob, the moving to another E6400 should be no problem, but haven´t done yet.
I was looking for an installation guide.
