SCSI Cd-roms , are they all EOS compatible

I need to buy a new SCSI cdrom drive mine is pissing me off and not reading the full disk , aswell as being 4x which is painfully slow, do they all basically work with the sampler , im going to buy one off egay and dont want to make my ulcer any worse , when the thing doesnt work and I throw it at the wall

i suppose they should all work, i believe it is just a generic driver that is in the emu. probably why you can't use a burner with the emu, they just didn't put it in, or something....
i have 4.01 and my glyph works fine. since you probably wont spend much money on it, if it doesn't work then that is alright, no risk, no gain. and in the end if you still can't find a cdrom that will work, contact glyph, they have cdrom's there, but they are kind of spendy, but they work great and are fast.
also, it the driver doesn't work, make sure you through it against a brick or concrete wall. that way you can get the most damage to the rom, but not lose your safety deposite.... or you just turn around and sell it on ebay and perhaps make your money back.
