Convert folder with samples to bank?

Just installed EOS 4.7 on my E4XT. Noted when transferring samples from my mac that the EMU version of FAT doesn't support subfolders. Since I'd like to keep things tidy (there are quite a lot of samples to transfer), my question is: is it possible to convert a folder of samples into a bank file (.e4b)? This way I would gain another level as the banks would roughly function as folders. Imagine there is some nifty tool out there, but haven't found it yet. ;)

The nifty tool is called Emulator X3 and is running on Windows PCs...
Just mark all your samples in the folder and drag them into Emulator X3.
Export the bank as ".e4b"-file.
That's it.

Thanks for the tip. Too bad it's pc only... Chicken systems' translator may be an option. Not sure if it works well though.

Any alternatives come to mind?
