General Emu and E-Synth (keyboard) questions

Hi, I'm a first time Emu user and recently got my E-Synth keyboard which I have since upgraded to Eos 4.62.

A few questions...(and yes, i have read the manuals...)

Just wondering is there any way i can solo a track in the sequencer?

Also is there any way I can Step sequence using the onboard sequencer?

Can i change velocity note by note (by using a function on the keyboard?)

If these things aren't at all possible can someone reccomend a good sequencer (considering all mentioned)

(Making RnB/Hip Hop music...if that helps at all)

Also will a SCSI-2 CR-RW be compatible?

thanks.

Most people will tell you that the sequencers in the EMUs are no good. You're staring at a little display and it's very hard to keep track of things. The sequencer has very limited editing functions as well. Good sequencers include, Cubase, Sonar, Logic , there's more. Cubase is my favorite. You can also get external harware sequencers that have dead-on timing. I'm not sure about the SCSI question. Ask SCSI Bob. He's on this board.
