I have several computer keybds laying around, one of which is an old AT ASCII style which will plug right into the E6400.
Got it at a local thrift store for like $3.
Now I see the same style keybds for sale on Ebay for 50-70 bucks !

What is the difference aside from the connector between the old style and the now standard PS/2 + USB keybds ?
Can i use a PS2 or USB style kybd with an adapter to the E6400 ?

Yes you can use a PS2 keyboard and an adapter like this one

You might find a buyer for your old style keyboard and make a nice profit.

Thanks JAH, the older ASCII kybd I have is pretty wide So I am looking for one that I can stuff in the rack when not in use.
Alot of newer kybds will fit .
