scsi cd rom drives with logic 6?

The reason I'm asking this is because I'm running a powermac g5 and cannot find any compatible scsi cards, therefore making me unable to send data to my sampler from the hd, f'in nightmare.
I was thinking I could maybe burn my logic sample library to cd and then load them into my emu with the scsi cd rom drive. Yay or Nay?
Would a scsi cd rom drive be the answer?
