Where are the 3rd party RFX plugins

The rfx manual and the sound on sound review mention the possibility of 3rd party effects. Where are they? I bet some very interesting effects are possible. Maybe the muxter could be modified to do something similar to granular synthesis or the reverb could be improved to include a plate how adding a pitch shifter. Are there any 3rd party effects? If there are none why?

Yeah I remember there was talk of Lexicon providing 3rd party plugins. More hot air from emu I'm afraid, just like a bug fixed 4.7, which would have allowd us to use the current plugins without fear of waking up the neighbours 2 blocks along.

Currently going thru the different filter types, to see which ones noiseburst on Bus4. Will post results later.

I know some of the ensoniq samplers have third party effects and I doubt the companies involved made a huge profit. I get the impression that emu have not released the documentation or have made it very difficult for third parties to write new plugins. I wonder why?

P.S my rfx is not buggy

Lucky one...

Nevertheless - EMU should think of publishing a RFX SDK - would be a nice thing to be able to write own FX... BTW, if they were smart, they would build some kinda conversion routine for the X and some GPL licensing of the SDK... I'm quite sure there would evolve some loads of proprietary FX that only RFX/EMU X users could use... But alas, too many guys seem to fear for their intellectual property everywhere around the world...

BTW: someone ever tried to export FX (like the compressor) from 4.7 and import them into 4.61? Does that work?
