I wish there was a way to create folders within folders
Anybody got any tips on how they make best use of the EOS file system to build categorized banks of samples that can be found easily?

Thanks,
Ezman

My way is pretty convienient
:slayer:
I have all my tunes set as banks obvuiously, so I can load the tune with all the presets and sample setup the way I last left them

Also, I have a bank for samples, in that bank ill have presets for alike samples, like kick drums, snares, synths etc
Ive map out all my kicks and snares so that i can just load the whole preset (I love you 128megs of RAM) and use what I want
make sense?

ezman... I hear you. I think that is the absolute most bunk thing that you can't do folders within folders. I thought it was just me at first and was upset when I found out that it really was impossible. I even wrote emu about this as well as some other ideas to see if they would put it into a software update. Of course squat gone done.

Another thing I really wanted to see was ping-pong loops.. ala forward backwards loops. You can find this neat little feature in DOS based trackers. As well Akai and Yamaha sampler both have this loop feature integrated within their OS. Now that I brought it up I am dissapointed again. The emu is great.. but it still lacks some very basic necessities imho.
