Akai 2 Emu Converter

Hi,
Is there a program that can convert Akai sample cd's to emu format. I know the emu can decode them if u have a scsi cd drive attatched but i want to access them via scsi from emu, to pc hard drive.

I have the same problem... The only thing I found was Translator Pro (
www.chickensys.com) which is rather expensive. But this program converts and transmits practically any format through SMDI. What you can also buy is Translator Special Edition (much cheaper!) if you use only 1 destination sampler and than the program converts and transmits everything only to EMU.

Cheers, I already have chickens systems, but it wont read my akai disks? But CD extract will? So im not havig much joy at the mo.

Right My next problem is that my emu dosent see the banks i have created? what format r u guys using?

Shouldn't your problem be solved if you store the imported samples to a normal disk??
That should be accessible then?
