The eos 3.0 download seems to be something else. Does anyone have a
copy that they could email to me? I am using a mac and seem to have
trouble getting the disk in the right format to work (I have tried with 2.8)
so some tips on how to actually put the file on the disk and which format would be handy also. Thanks! lmulwee@triad.rr.com

You must use Disc copy on the Mac and choose Make floppy instead of
dragging the image into the disc copy window.
Here is some important info on making disc images on a Mac.

If you are a Macintosh user, two important points about the disk image
process should be noted:

Some users have reported receiving a "Shrink Wrap
Error" message when the disk image self-extracting archive
completes its decompression process. This in no way effects the
performance of the EOS 4.02 Upgrade installation routine. Just click
"OK" and proceed to use Disk Copy to create the floppy of the disk
image.

It is important to not drag the disk image to the
Disk Copy window (even though the Disk Copy window says to do this).
Instead, choose the "Make A Floppy...." option from the Utilities
menu of Disk Copy. Follow the instructions which appear on screen, and
your disk image floppy should be created smoothly.[/quote]
