E6400 Subouts. Would like to fit them into a E5000 Ultra.

have a E5000 Ultra without the Subout Expansion but with a RFX Card installed. I've got also a E6400 of a friend of mine here. It has the Output Expansion. Looked both into the two samplers but it seems for me that the subouts are involved with the mainboard of the E6400. How can I put them into the Ultra without any damage? Any suggestions?
