Hi!

Still got my original 4.3GB ide drive in my ultra. What size of disk can be fitted in there? I mean drives like 40G now go for about the same price as 80G drives. What's the biggest drive someone has successfully mounted into a Ultra??

THX in advance,

aXel

How did you format the drive?

Anyone had any luck with such a big drive on a 5000 ultra?

I bought a e6400 Ultra in ebay.
Can I use a 60Gb HD (ATA) on my e6400 if i?m using EOS 4.61???
Another thing: My EMU loses contact with the HD 30m after plugging it on. Is this normal??? (HD Sleep is set to never) Should it be the EMU or the Maxtor HD problem?
Thanks for your help!

mounted a 120 gig into an e4xt ultra 4.7 which worked fine.
noticed that backup procedure ran more reliable on 4.7 compared to 4.6
had other probas with 4.7 though
