My EMU loses contact with the HD 30m after plugging it on. Is this normal??? (HD Sleep is set to never)
Should it be the EMU or the Maxtor HD problem? If it sleeps it does not awake untill I restart the sampler...

Will you be able to try an other hard drive, to see if the problem persists?

Hi,
Not with another IDE Drive.
I have received a damaged Ultra before I got this one on eBay and I think the SCSI HD that came with that one is not damaged (only the mainboard I guess).
I?ll try it out tomorrow. I?ll be out of town today on work.
