E-mu e5000 and Apple PB?

To my fellow E-mu dedicated friends,

Is anyone out there using their E-mu sampler with an Apple PB/iBook running OSX 10.3.X? I have seen various adapters that convert USB to SCSI, Firewire to SCSI as well as PCMCIA SCSI cards but I have haven't heard anything about their support for legacy SCSI devices such as our beloved E-mu samplers. Does anyone out there use a PB running OSX to transfer samples back and forth from an E-mu sampler? I'm used to using adaptec cards with a PC but it doesn't look like there is any support for SCSI devices that would do the job on the OSX platform. I do not want to use a PC unless I absolutely have to. Any suggestions/tips would be greatly useful.

yes im on my g4 with panther installed.
I finally got my to transfer samples back and forth with that smi program on this site somewhere--but its buggy and slow...but my sound diver works great. I can't use recycle to chop up my breaks and send them to my sampler with panther. and i got a pc too, but i have windows 98 and i can only use recycle 1.7 but i cant seem to find it. recycle 2 only works on windows xp...seems complicated...

do we have to go back with os 9?

i guess thats why we have become a minority...everyone is laughing at me...yes kontakt is easier...

good luck man...
