RFX ADAT Buses Feedback Matrix

Just curious if anyone has tried this.

It seems technially possible to use the ADAT outputs fed directly back into the ADAT inputs in order to maximize the routings available in the internal busing. Since it isn't possible to internally feed any given submix bus output to the others inputs.

ie.
Bus1 --> ADAT out 1-2
ADAT out 1-2 --> ADAT in 1-2
In MultiSetup ADAT in 1-2 --> Bus2

then assigning bus level controls to MIDI A-L for multiplying realtime effect routing possibilities.

I do something akin to this in analog on my mixing board with effect sends routed back to their own channels (rather than using the effect effect return channels which do not have further routing capabilities) to achieve combinations that can take on modular synth like charateristics.
Of course care must be taken not to create routings which will be amplified into uncontrolled feedback, no problem if you keep a clear head about the signal path and the type of effect in use. Sometimes using small amounts of feedback below unity can be turned to good use especially for increasing the decays of delays and degenerating the spectrum when using the EQ (like increasing the Q factor).
Complex routings really can unify a mix that uses lots of effects (which the RFX is certainly capable of). I hope there's no technical reasons that this wouldn't work. (i haven't got the ADAT expansion yet but will look to pick one up especially if this turns out to work.)
