I am considering selling my set of 8 EMU CD roms which I recently acquired.
They are the 8 CDs which came with the Ultra series and these are no longer available on ebay anymore.
1 Emulator Standards
2 More Emulator Standards
3 Orchestra
4 Sound FX
5 World Instruments
6 World Percussion Ensembles
7 Emu Classics
8 Vintage
I thought I would give forum members the first oppertunity to purchase them before selling them else were.
They arrived from over seas to late for me to use.
Any offers??

Got them all! They're really good.
My personal fav is Volume 7 "E-mu Classics", particularly these banks: Proteus 2/Orch+, CP-70 Med/Hard and the Mellotron strings/voices/flutes. I actually prefer the Proteus 2 bank to the Orchestral CD but that's a matter of taste. The Vintage CD is not bad either and there are more vintage synth banks on the first 2 CDs.

Give me some time to get back to you as I need to check how much I paid for them before commiting to sell them.

I find the b3-samples to be one of my favourites, actually.

Yes, they're very good too, although I prefer the ones on Syntec's Wall of Sound CD. I forgot to mention the famous Emulator vox samples contained in the Vox Haunt bank of "E-mu Classics", the bagpipes on "World Instruments" and almost anything on "World Percussion Ensembles".

I am back early so if anyone is interested in the CDs let me know.
I just need to check the postage rate, which I guess will be about 5 pounds sterling. for special delivery.

So if anyone wants them you had better contact me before next week.

I forgot to place my discs on ebay so I thought I would give forum members another chance.
I am selling all 8 discs so if anyone would like them PM me or post a message.

You should just sell them on ebay! its not that much trouble. You should get between $50-$100. There is a person on there who sells these 8 and the 5 formula 4000 up there each week for $120 but they are copies. As long as yours are in good condition, you will be fine. I was selling these about 5 months ago brand new and sold a few of them for between $125-$175. No lie.
all the best!

A set just like this - some still in the shrink wrapping - went for £24 on eBay. You can do a completed item search if you want to verify that.
Where are you based?
