CPU FLASH RAM UPGRADE w/EOS 4.62

Is there any saving angel out there ? I am playing the E4K and need badly the CPU FLASH UPGRADE EOS 4.62.Then I could for example make use of my Akai S3000 sounds ! Kind answers to tsalomo2@welho.com

You can download the 4.62 classic EOS from Emu home page. Download also the flash preparation file.
http://www.emu.com/support/files/downlo ... Platform=1
Take 1 floppy disc for the flash prep and 1 for the EOS software.
To get the programs in to the floppies you just double click each file.

Follow after these 3 steps
1) Put the flash prep disc in your e4k, and turn on the e4k. Follow the instructions on the display.
2) Turn of the e4k.
3) Put the new EOS disc in the e4k and turn the e4 on. Follow the instructions on the display.

hello niklas!

this isn´t tom´s problem!
His problem is that the E4k has only 1MB of CPU FLash RAM. For EOS 4.62 Classic he needed 2MB of CPU Flash RAM!

I thought that the e4k came with 2mb flash
